Osaka Design Promotion Plaza (ODP) is an incubation facility with offices specifically for creators aimed at supporting individuals in creative endeavors considering becoming independent as well as those who have recently become independent creators. To support your daily design needs, we have a complete environment with tangible assets such as equipment and facilities, along with intangible assets such as events and seminars sure to lead to new experiences.
As we also have Offices for Designers for experienced creators as well, there are creators here involved in various fields and careers.
Business opportunities will not come from people who do not know you. Creators tend to be isolated, but here in Nanko you have the opportunity to bridge the gaps between young and experienced creators and those in various creative fields in expanding links. Sharing knowledge and experience and steadily developing skills will enable many to make their starts.
This is an office where creators who have just established their own business can meet with Incubation Managers to receive the kind of support that will smooth their passage. ODP's Incubation Office is not simply a rental office, but an organized environment in which member enterprises can, through friendly mutual competition, become independent and develop, heading toward growth and stability. Membership Length: One year * May be extended to a maximum of three years if deemed necessary by the Administrative Office.
ODP has Incubation Managers stationed on site. They are here to support the growth of member enterprises by various means such as consultations concerning business and sales channels.
For individuals who have outgrown the Incubation Office and for designers and creators who have been in business for more than five years. In contrast to the Incubation Office, certain support services such as consultations are not available, but occupants enjoy use of a full range of equipment in the facilities. Also, creators active in a variety of fields are available, enabling collaborative efforts.
For individuals who want to employ the facilities for using co-working space and getting ready to launch their business or for putting out word about their activities.
Part of the Design Library is given over to a co-working space, and rental spaces such as the Gallery and Multi-Purpose Room are available at special discount prices. For those preparing their business launch, consultations with Incubation Managers are available.

ODP offers a learning place where independent designers and creators can meet and take their next steps forward.
Seminars are aimed at enabling designers and creators who have recently started their businesses to improve their sales and management abilities.
Hear theme-based talks and the personal experiences of creators in the vanguard while seeking out practical methods for getting your creative activities on track.
A salon where you can hear established designers and creators discuss what happened after launching their businesses. Learn about what happens after a business launch as well as the aspects of creative activities to which designers and creators pay close attention.
Aside from creative work aimed at clients day in and day out, these events support creators in making their activities known and in test marketing. We hold events making use of the advantages offered by the large-scale commercial complex ATC, holding exhibitions, sales of original products and workshops.
Regular exchange events for member enterprises, small-scale, self-hosted events, etc.
For independent designers and creators, doing business involves new activities and a chain of decisions concerning how to develop business partners and networks, how to make their activities known, how to hold events and so on.
We encourage the efforts of designers and creators in taking these new steps each day.
